Family School Coordinators (FSCs)
Pathways to Success has a group of Family School Coordinators that is the connection between the community, school, family, and student. When a student begin to falter, the FSC helps in problem-solving. FSCs also assist schools and teachers in planning for events related to post-secondary education, such as Scholarship Night and college-field trips. Also some FSCs are involved in mentoring and tutoring roles for students and some form of instructional coaching with teachers or staff members.
Community Involvement
Pathway to Success, in cooperation with the schools offer workshops and other informational events for students and their families. Parents and guardians learn key strategies for supporting students' goals, acquire essential information about financial aid and educational options for their children, and discuss and develop supportive practices for their children's post-secondary goals. In the future, student will have the opportunity to be matched with an appropriate online mentor throughout the course of their high school years.
