Unfortunately many underprivileged students fail to meet their educational potential over each school year. Every child should have the opportunity to lead a successful school career and that is where the Institute for Effective Education (IEE) comes in. IEE has built its success as a leading educational research unit with in the UK. Their goal is to make a proven difference in a child's educational outcome.
At this time IEE is undergoing research activity that include evaluations of education interventions within the UK and across the seas. It is currently working with an array of departments at the University of York. IEE is also forming a nonprofit charity that will partner with schools to encourage the development in the use of efficient and effective learning approaches. The charity will carry out many activities in which are detailed below. During this transitional period the website will also be undergoing changes and may not reflect the IEE’s real time changes. If you are unclear or have more questions please feel free to call or email for further info.
IEE conducts only the highest quality evaluation of current educational programs and practices. The UK research consists of working on numeracy, literacy, early childhood education, science, parenting, participation, well being, and the effective uses of our worlds ever changing technology. IEE is leading international research projects within many countries where they are challenged in accessing education. In addition to all of the above, IEE also offers places for postgrad students to study for research degrees in education if that is their calling.
IEE is committed in spreading knowledge across the globe to people working in the practice and policy of education. IEE is also working on a support structure for evidence based education. It is IEE's goal to provide practical tools and expertise in education wherever possible.
